A licensed physical therapist comes to your home, Monday to Sunday. Each session lasts 45 to 90 minutes depending on the type of therapy, and the first one includes the assessment.
Care is provided in Spanish only. This English page is so you can read how the service works; the sessions themselves are not in English.
We confirm the time based on the therapist's availability and that he can reach your area.

How in-home physical therapy works
At your home
The therapist comes to your home, within the area we cover in Quito. You don't have to travel.

We confirm the day and time on WhatsApp.
The assessment is part of the first session
On the first visit the therapist assesses you and sets up the therapy plan. It isn't charged separately.

Orthopedic physical therapy

After a fracture, surgery, sprain or injury. Back, neck, shoulder or knee pain.
Geriatric physical therapy

For older adults: mobility, strength, balance and fall prevention.
Respiratory physical therapy

To breathe better and clear secretions, for example after pneumonia.
Neurological physical therapy

After a stroke, or with Parkinson's and other neurological conditions.
Swallowing therapy

For people who have trouble swallowing or choke when eating or drinking.
Oncology physical therapy

During or after cancer treatment. Ask about prepaid session packages.

When not to wait for the session: call 911
- Sudden chest pain or shortness of breath
- Weakness or numbness on one side of the body, a drooping face or trouble speaking
- A fall with a blow to the head, or you can't put weight on your leg
- A swollen, warm and painful leg, especially after surgery or long bed rest
- Choking that doesn't clear
- High fever or new confusion
Physical therapy is by appointment and is not an emergency service. If you're not sure whether it's an emergency, message us and we'll guide you at no cost. If in doubt, treat it as an emergency and call 911.
